M8 Computer Modeling Results
The M8 vertical stack modeled here uses 2 vertical stacked 9 1/2" x 9" 4 bays tied together with a tapered co-phase line. These models were ran with a pair of 36" high x 40" wide curved reflectors with 2" x 4" openings (2" x 4" wire fence).
Better front to back ratios and slightly higher gain on UHF would be seen with a screen that has smaller openings such as 1" x 2" wire fence.
